What is a 0th day? Both Shannon and I played a little Wii Fit last night to get our profiles started up. I did the initial body test and got my results. Then Shannon did hers. Then I got back on. The game asked me if I was a night owl (stay up to 3 a.m. often). Well, being as I work a late evening shift unloading trucks at Walmart, yeah, that’d be about right. We both changed our save times to 3 a.m. (The “night owl” setting.) After going back, the game claimed we were on our “0th day”.
I thought it meant that our entire profile was reset. So we did the body tests again and recorded the results. Then we wake up today and it says we already did our body tests for today! When we shifted to “night owls”, the game treated us as going back in time, since we took the tests after1 a.m. last night. Weird…
Oh, sorry! I didn’t introduce myself! I’m D.K. My wife is Shannon. Glad to see you reading!
Regardless, tomorrow we can get back in the normal routine again. I work early tomorrow morning but I intend to do 30-45 minutes of exercises (it’ll be too late in the day to walk tomorrow after I get off, but I’m taking my pedometer to work).
Speaking of pedometers, me and Shannon walked over 7,500 steps today! That’s more than 3 miles! Considering it’s only our second day, that’s amazing by the standards of my walking handbook. Soon we’ll be hitting that 10,000 steps a day mark. I’ll be posting about the 10K-a-day program soon, so keep an eye out for that.
Now, on to the goals.
I weigh in currently at 168.2 lbs., with a BMI of 24.91. My goal is to get down to 148.6 lbs. with a BMI of 22.01 by May 16, 2010. That’ll mean losing weight at almost 3.5 lbs. every 2 weeks.
Shannon weighs in currently at 153.9 lbs., with a BMI of 25.64. Her goal is to get down to 132.1 lbs. with a BMI of 22.00 by May 16, 2010. That’ll mean losing weight at almost 3.5 lbs. every 2 weeks.
I’ll be keeping track of our goals in the sidebar as well as in update posts.
See ya soon, and Wii Will Be Fit!
